How much pain can a soul take? Watching the plight of Palestinians has become unbearable for people who have humanity left in them. But how are the Palestinians able to withstand such a cruel onslaught ever known in human history? The answer lies in the Quran, and understanding God and the purpose of life. For people who are busy making their lives in this world, it’s hard to understand. Palestinians are a people who are building their life in the hereafter.
When you believe in the concept of after life, judgment day and that one day every creature has to be accountable for his actions on this earth, it all makes sense. For a heart that only knows materialism, physical pleasures it’s hard to grasp the whole truth. For them ‘might is right’ seems to be true. But for those who are spiritually awaken, this world is a temporary journey which they utilise for the betterment of the permanent life that awaits us after death.
How would one react when such a calamity strikes you that shatters your soul? What would soothe your pain if you do not believe in God? And that its not the end, death is not the end, God will do justice in the life hereafter?
