Nurit Yitzhak: They took care of our health and hygiene

Nurit Yitzhak, one of the two the Israeli captive, who were released yesterday by Al Qassam Brigades, recalls her experience in Gaza.
Yitzhak, along with the another captive, was both released following days of Israel’s refusal to receive them. The elderly woman spoke to the media and revealed what was it like to be a Hamas’ captive. “We are muslims, we will not harm you,” the militants told her.

Yocheved Lifshitz, 85, and Nurit Cooper, 79: The two captives released in ‘humanitarian grounds’ placed in ambulances ar Egypt’s Rafah border and handed over to their families.

Nurit said there used to be a paramedic with them all the time and a doctor would visit them daily. She further said that the militants too care of their hygiene, especially women related. “The toilets were cleam and they (Hamas militants) themselves used to clean the toilets,” Nurit added.

Qatar played and important role as a mediator and in convincing Hamas to release these hostages.
