Condemning Hamas is an act of Cowardice: Julius Malema

For people who are aware of politics in the African continent Julius Malema is a familiar face and voice. He is known for his outspoken nature and clear speech without any hypocrisy, doubt or contradictions. You can watch the South African parliamentary sessions to know more about him. Malema is the president of Economic Freedom Fighters who aim at financial freedom of South Africa.

A picket was organized at the Israeli embassy of South Africa in solidarity with Palestine in which various speakers put out their views about the current situation in Gaza. Speaking at this dias, Julius Malema criticized the Zionist Aparthied state and the world leaders. At around time tag 42:30 of the above video, Julius Malema says, “There is nothing wrong in what Hamas did…..’ ‘… when you are oppressed the only option you have is to fight. And thats what Hamas is doing. They are fighting for their freedom. Mandela did the same thing. Pickup the guns and fight for the freedom of peolle of South Africa.” Few minutes later at time tag 43:36, he goes on to say, “….. and condemning Hamas is an act of cowardice.” The speech was recieved with claps and applauses from the audience.

Not mincing any words, at time tag 44:54 Mr. Malema says, “The EFF when it takes over next year, is going to arm Hamas and and make sure that Hamas has got the neccessary we will see that Hamas has got the neccessary equipment to fight for their freedom. Natanyahu is the number one terrorist now. He must be declared a terrorist by the world and wherever he goes he must not find peace.” Mr. Malema said Natanyahu is commmitting genocide in Palestine and that Natenyahu gave the people of Gaza an ultimatum of 24 hours to leave Gaza and as the people were leaving he (Natanyahu) bombed them.

Julius Malema concluded by saying, “It can not be that the people of South Africa who are beneficiaries of International Solidarity would sit back and allow this nonsense to go on.” He declared that he would remove the Israeli embassy from South Africa if he comes to power.
